On July 9th, Pershore High School ran its Trades Show for Year 10 pupils to help inspire the taking of a trade route and the prospect of an apprenticeship. The shop was designed to help the students to get an insight into how a trades life could provide a successful career and income.
Local businesses supported the show and therby supported the pupils in planning their futures.
The Rotarians demonstrated prospects of careers as an electrician and of garden landscaping.
Other trades included Taylor Wimpey bricklaying and carpentry, White Logistics and Storage with an HGV vehicle on-site, Jet Plant of Evesham with a road laying planer, Angel Hotel to promote the hospitality industry, Nellies for the fabrics industry, Vale Plumbing, Vale Landscape Heritage Trust for outside conservation work and opportunities in the Civil Service
