About the event
On the third Wednesday of the month, we meet at the Queen Elizabeth in Elmley Castle. It is a very pleasant community pub with good food and friendly and helpful volunteer staff. After an early dinner, we hear from a guest speaker and then, if needed, we have a short business discussion about activities and plans.
This month our speaker is Lucy Thornton, a member of Pershore Rotary Club, who is DGN (District Governor Nominee) to be District Governor for Rotary District 1100 in 2026/27.
Lucy is preparing for her Governorship and is taking this opportunity to practice talking about Rotary and fielding questions. So, please come prepared both to find out something you didn't already know about Rotary (and Lucy), and make sure you have some searching questions prepared!
Please note, we will be sitting down to dinner promptly at 6:30pm, so please arrive by 6:15 at the latest…
