Imagine losing your home, your belongings and everything you know - in a matter of minutes.
That is the reality facing thousands of families in northern Nepal following the devastating floods on 26 August.
Entire villages have been destroyed. Families have been displaced. Roads and bridges have been swept away, making it incredibly difficult to get food, shelter and essential emergency supplies to those who need them most.
More than 1.6 million people are estimated to have been affected, and the humanitarian needs continue to grow.
Behind every number is a person...
A parent. A child. A family who has lost almost everything.
