Wednesday 6th: Club Assembly and AGM with supper at The Queen Elizabeth
On the first Wednesday of the month we usually hold a business meeting at the Queen Elizabeth, Elmley Castle, WR10 3HS. This month the business meeting takes the form of our Club Assembly and AGM at which the incoming president gives us an insight to their plans for the club for the next Rotary Year (1st July to 30th June).
We start with an optional light supper at 6:30pm, followed by the business meeting at 7pm.
For visitors, we would be delighted if you would like to join us and find out more about Rotary and the charity work that we do in Pershore and Worldwide. Andrew can also give you the menu and take your order if you would like to join us for the supper.
For members, supper needs to be ordered in advance through Andrew on 07774 466209 or secretary@pershorerotary.club. The monthly council meeting starts at 4:30pm and finishes by 6pm.

Saturday 16th - District Assembly and Handover - Lucy becomes Governor
We begin 2026/27 Rotary year with exciting news for Pershore Rotary and the wider community. One of our members, Lucy Thornton, will take up the role of District Governor for Rotary International’s District 1100 on 1 July 2026.This is a significant honour, not only for Lucy personally but also for Pershore Rotary, reflecting the strength and commitment of our club.

On the third Wednesday of the month we usually welcome a speaker at our meeting at the Queen Elizabeth, Elmley Castle, WR10 3HS. This month we welcome Julie Hemming, Mayor of Pershore to tell us about her role and Pershore's ambitions. We start with an optional light supper at 6:30pm, followed by the talk at 7pm.

Thursday 21st - ESO Dementia Concert in Abbey 2.30pm - 4pm
This is free for people suffering from dementia and their carers. Rotary is sponsoring the refreshments.

It has been decided with the approval of many members that The Commodore Hotel in Instow (Devon) is going to be our destination for 8th to 10th September. Many of you know it already - it is gorgeous.
So please make your reservations ASAP as they are holding rooms for us.
