Cube Youth revisit Feli’s

Sixteen young people from the Cube Youth project enjoyed another inspiring day at Feli’s on Tuesday, 31 March, where Felice and Fiorinda once again opened their doors and their kitchen, for a hands-on cookery experience.

Cube Youth, a Malvern-based registered charity, supports young people aged 10 -18 through a wide range of free activities designed to build confidence, boost wellbeing and encourage new friendships. Weekly sessions at The Octagon Community Centre offer everything from sports and games to arts, crafts and cookery - shaped by the interests of the young people themselves.

A highlight of the programme is the group’s twice yearly visit to Feli’s Bar & Restaurant at Stoulton. After a warm welcome and breakfast from Fiorinda, Felice leads a lively demonstration, showing how to prepare a simple three-course meal. The aim is practical and empowering - to give the young people the skills and confidence to recreate these dishes at home for their families.

Once the demonstration’s over, the group splits into teams to cook their own versions of the starter, main course and dessert. There’s plenty of tasting, sharing and friendly competition, with Felice judging the results.

Pershore Rotary presented Easter egg prizes to all the youngsters, with the winning team getting slightly larger eggs!

The day concluded with lunch before the group returned to Malvern, each young person leaving with new skills, great memories and a small gift.
