Torquay and the English Riviera

23 Pershore Rotarians, partners and friends set off in October for our annual mid-week break - this time to the heart of the English Riviera - destination Torquay. These away-stays bring members together and provide an opportunity to get to know each other better, as well as providing the opportunity to explore different parts of the country and enjoy some rest and relaxation in the comfort of a good hotel.

Our thanks for organising these annual events goes to Carole Hecht. Carole will spend days visiting different parts of the country, trying out hotels, restaurants and visiting places of interest. We simply turn up and enjoy ourselves.

My report is simply a snapshot of the things we did and enjoyed. It is based on members' experiences and photos taken over the three to four days spent in Tor Bay. If you've enjoyed reading about the places we visited, then why not join us next year. Who knows where we might end up! You won't be disappointed.
