Down on the farm

richardfalees1230

Lynne, Graham and Richard had the pleasure of visiting Wick Care Farm to see the new chicks and ducklings bought by Isobel Meikle (Care Farm Manager) and funded by Pershore Rotary.

Wick Care Farm is a not for profit community interest company which provides a nurturing environment for clients with a range of support needs, offering a structured day of thereaputic farm-based activities designed to help adults and children improve their mental and physical health and learn some life skills, eg horticulture, cooking and animal care. WCF is the only Care Farm in the area providing for people with mental health challenges and dementia. For more information, go to www.wickgrange.co.uk.

Our visit gave us the opportunity to see and hold the chicks and talk to some of the clients working at the Farm.
