About the event

A joint meeting with Evesham and Rotary in the Vale clubs on Wednesday, 18 October 2023 at Benvenuti Belle House at 6.30pm.

David Wickins has negotiated a special two course menu, including tea and coffee, at a cost of £20.00 per person. Please contact Richard Lees (07504 845395) if you wish to attend, and you need to advise him and choose your menu items before close of business on Monday 16th October.

The restaurant management have asked that we meet at 6.30pm with dinner to be served at 7.00pm.  The restaurant has a very small bar area so, rather than congregating at the bar on arrival, we suggest everyone finds a seat and gives their drinks’ orders to the staff who are very attentive and quick to respond.

Past District Governor Chris Firth will be our guest and speaker on the night. He will be talking about the work of PhysioNet, a UK based charity dedicated to helping some of the most marginalised people in the world by supplying children and adults with disability equipment considered surplus or redundant in the UK.

Also in attendance will be Pershore’s Mayor, Richard Grantham, who will be presented with an honorary membership of Pershore Rotary. Mayor Grantham’s father was a member of Pershore Rotary, so it will be good for him to see and hear about Rotary’s many activities in the area.

This is Evesham Rotary’s 75th anniversary year and President Oliver Lister will want to say a few words about their celebration dinner on Thursday, 23 November 2023.

We have an opportunity to meet socially with the Evesham clubs twice a year, so let’s make this a memorable night with a very good turn out and start the 75th anniversary party going! Feel free to bring friends and prospective members to the meeting. The more the merrier.
